I find that the photo of Ellie Kokkinou was inspired by the photo of Uma Thurman. Both wearing evening gowns while balancing on a skyscraper! Same concept.

Cleo Liapi was in the the reality show Big Brother 2 (Greece) in 2002. So the photos we see of her must have been photographed after the show as she was an unkown! I don't need to point out the similarities, I think they are obvious!

Amanda Lepore is an American transsexual icon and is also noted as a regular subject in much of David LaChapelle's work. In October 1999 Swatch released "Time Tranny", a watch designed by LaChapelle with Lepore on the face!
Evangelia Dermetzoglou was the winner of the Greek Survivor season 1 in 2003.

Eminem - Sakis Rouvas
Marshall Bruce Mathers III or better known as Eminem was photographed in 1999 by David LaChapelle holding a stick of dynamite titled "About to Blow". The photo is the first out of a series of three.
Sakis Rouvas was photographed four years later for Nitro magazine also holding a stick of dynamite!
Sakis Rouvas is representing Greece in this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow, Russia with the song "This Is Our Night" .

Alessandra Ambrosio is a Brazilian model. She is best known for her work with Victoria's Secret and was chosen as their first spokesmodel for Victoria's Secret Pink line.
Valia Kakouti was crowned "Star Hellas" in 2004 and represented Greece in the Miss Universe pageant in the same year.

Angie Dickinson - Britney Spears - Gogo Mastrokosta - Victoria's Secret Models
Esquire 60 Years of Women We Love
Frank Bez is the photographer who captured Angie Dickinson (Policewoman) in this now iconic image. The original photgraph dates back to 1966 but was the cover of Esquire in 1993. In the 1966 photo Angie Dickinson is wearing a powder blue sweater and was photographed infront of a black background. When the photo was reused for the 1993 issue the film had faded into a burgundy and white, which eventually became the now-utilized maroon and cream.
Esquire 70 Years of Women We Love
Esquire later re-created the shot with Britney Spears captured by James White in November 2003.
Again one month later Gogo Mastrokosta is featured on the cover of Esquire Greece in an exact copy of Britney's cover right down to the finest detail of her hair!

Gisele Bundchen - Despoina Vandi
Gisele Bundchen was photographed by David LaChapelle in 2000. This photograph also graced the cover of the December issue of Arena magazine. Three years later the photograph is copied for the September issue of Nitro magazine and in Gisele's place, Greek singer Despoina Vandi steps in!
I love David LaChapelle's photographs. I adore the way he photographs celebrities, and he has photographed countless! Not only is he a photographer he is also a video/commercial/film director who works in the fields of fashion, advertising, and fine art photography. David LaChapelle is noted for his surreal, unique and often humorous style.
